


9th Grade Literature & Composition: On Courage
This two days/week class challenges students to become competent and courageous thinkers and writers. Weekly discussions guided by an expert teacher and a curated booklist on the theme of Courage and will inspire students to think and write boldly. Part writing tutorial/workshop and part Socratic discussion, this class tackles both argumentative academic writing and creative writing. Students will grow in their ability to read and analyze texts, engage deeply with the ideas of others, develop meaningful, original thoughts of their own, express themselves clearly and creatively, and prepare themselves for the rigor of our Omnibus courses.
This class meets one or two days per week, depending on campus schedule.
NOTE: Students wishing to enroll at our Fullerton campus need to enroll through Peace Hill.
